I will pay you $1
if....
you can tell me what the heck these symbols mean
I think doing laundry would have been easier had this been in hungarian. At least I could use a dictionary then.
PS I downloaded the user manual and it does not show these symbols nor mention what they might mean. It just indicates to "select a programme". Thanks Whirlpool (model FL 5085/A AA800)

Is the second one rinse? The third one seems to mean you can take a shower in there. :) Maybe you should just experiment and see what happens?
ReplyDeleteI ran it with nothing in it by setting it to A. That seemed to be a normal wash and rinse situation. So maybe I don't care what the other stuff is?
ReplyDeleteHmm. This is a good one. I know we Hungarians do strange things but this is too much. I can’t figure it out either. 11 years ago it was much simpler. I am just guessing. The feather may be delicate, the first "lettuce" looking something should be pre-wash and the second the regular washing mode, the “shower” sign is rinse, after that the water level comes. The washers in Hungary usually have programs indicated with a letter. It seems like a lot but it is really just the different temperature with different soaking and washing time. The washing time is toooooo looong compared to the American programs. 30 C is 85 F, 40C=105F, 95C=200F. Pay attention to the water temperature if you don't want to buy new clothing b/c everything became size XS.
ReplyDeleteWouldn't you be SHOCKED if I was actually the one to figure this out? I mean, I can't even do laundry in the US, so I am thinking a no-go in Budapest.
ReplyDeleteRemember when I washed my clothes with fabric softener for a good two months in London before I figured out that it was NOT detergent???
Keep your dollar!
